JILL LISTI ELITE DANCERS
Our Jill Listi Elite Dancer teams were created more than 10 years ago in an effort to fulfill the desire of students to travel, compete and explore the world of dance outside of the studio. Our company represents Jill Listi Dance Studio at regional and national conventions and competitions. The company attends L.A. Dance Magic, West Coast Dance Explosion, Nuvo, Tremaine, Jump and other convention circuits. Members are selected from our studio based on talent, work ethic, and dedication to dance. The objective is to provide dedicated students the opportunity to advance and perfect their talents while developing self-discipline and responsibility. This is accomplished through extra classes, conventions, intensive rehearsals and competition.
Company membership is by invitation and/or audition only. Members are required to attend extra classes, other than their regular dance curriculum. They must have at least 2-3 years of prior dance training and must be at least 6 years of age. All company members must be enrolled at Jill Listi Dance Studio. Please be informed that there are additional costs and fees associated with Elite, other than your regular dance fees. You are also responsible for your travel related fees as well as convention/competition fees.

Some of the requirements for auditions are as follows:
ALL ELITE DANCERS will be required to attend 3-4 conventions/competitions from Sept thru April . A National competition may also be required of all teams and this is usually during the summer months.
There will be weekday/night classes in addition to weekend rehearsals. Absences will be limited, so serious commitment to dance is expected.
Elite Dancers are also required to participate in all summer intensives/programs.

PETITE (AGES 6-8)
Understanding of basic dance technique, such as single pirouette, pique turns, chaine turns, grand jete, battements.
Extra ballet and technique classes are required
Must have at least 2 years of dance training
JUNIOR (AGES 8-10)
Understanding of basic and intermediate dance technique, including single/double pirouettes, single/double pique turns, inside pirouettes, chaine turns, grand jetes, straddle leaps, working on chaine grand jete and switch leaps
Extra ballet and technique classes are required
Must have at least 3 years of dance training
TEEN (AGES 11-14)
Understanding of basic, intermediate and approaching advanced dance technique including double/triple pirouettes, double pique turns, chaine turns, grand jetes, straddle leaps, switch leaps, chaine grand jete, working on fouettes & seconds
Extra ballet and technique classes are required
Must have at least 5 years of dance training
SENIOR (AGES 15-18)
Understanding of advanced dance technique including triple/quadruple pirouettes, double pique turns, grand jetes, straddle leaps, switch leaps, chaine grand jete, fouettes and seconds, inward double/triple pirouettes
Extra ballet and technique classes are required
Must have at least 5 years of dance training
APPRENTICE
Extra ballet and technique classes are required
Must have at least 3 years of dance training
