Jill Listi Munchrath
Director / Instructor / Owner

Jill began teaching her own classes at the age of 15 and opened her studio at the age of 21.  For years Jill traveled to New York, Los Angeles and Las Vegas where she studied extensively with some of the top professionals in the world of dance.  As a member of DanceMasters of America, she has been tested and is certified to teach by this nationally accredited organization, this year being her 25th year as a member.  Her students have received honors for numerous solos including Petite, Junior, Teen and Miss Dance of Dixie DMA titles.  Many group, lines & productions have won platinum medals & overall High point awards as well as having numerous performer of the week end titles.  It gives Jill a great sense of pride and accomplishment that some of her students have continued to pursue their love of dance and extend their careers by opening their own studios.  Others have gone on to dance professionally in the U.S. as well as Europe.  
 

 

 Kim Comeaux
 Director / Instructor

Kim began dancing at an early age and has never looked back.  She has studied under professionals such as Joe Tremaine, Jackie Sleight, John Crutchman and Alan Sherfield.  She was awarded many scholarships throughout her years of competitive dance, and was also 2nd runner up to Miss Dance Dixie DMA.  Kim has been teaching for more than 13 years and has an eye for detail and stresses technique in her dances.  Her students have also been recognized with awards and scholarships from Dance Masters of America and West Coast Dance Explosion to name a few.  Kim has a degree in Elementary Education from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, which enables her to understand appropriate learning techniques for her younger students.  Kim's teaching style is energetic and thorough, which is evident in her well-rounded students.   
 

 

Michelle Bernard
Director / Instructor
 
Michelle has been involved in dance most of her life.  As a student, she received numerous awards and scholarships, such as Miss Dance of Dixie DMA.  She also was a recepient of scholarships to study at the Tremaine Dance Center and the Edge Performing Arts Center, both in Los Angeles, where she studied with legendary teachers.  Since becoming a teacher over 10 years ago, Michelle has shared her passion and enthusiasm for the art of dance with her students.  Several of her students have received scholarships to study in Los Angeles & New York, along with winning titles for the Dixie Chapter of Dance Masters of America.  More recently, Michelle was the choreographer from 2002-2004 for the nationally ranked Lafayette High School Dancers, where they enjoyed a top ten finish for all 3 years she choreographed for them.  Currently she is the artistic Director for the Jill Listi Elite Dance Company, along with being the coach and choreographer for the University of Louisiana's Ragin Jazz Dance Team.  Meesh is a 2004 graduate of the University of Louisiana at Lafayette with a degree in Business Adminstration.  

 

Debbie LeJeune
Business/Operations Director

Debbie joined the staff of the Dance Studio in 2002, after having gained extensive experience in business management in the legal and retail fields.  Currently, she handles all business transactions for the studio, as well as maintaining staff, student and parent communications.  Debbie also maintains and updates our website, along with monitoring inventory levels of our studio gear and serves as our in-house photographer.
